The Cattaraugus Free Library was recently named a recipient of the Public Library Association’s “DigitalLead: Rural Libraries Creating New Possibilities” grant. The library will receive 3 new computers for patron use. Two of the computers will be laptop models to be used for patrons who have lengthy projects, such as homework or research. The laptops will not be available for gaming purposes.

Many events are being planned for November and December, including “Reading with Charlie”, our long-haired friend. The library will also host a Holiday Open House where children can create their own Christmas ornament and pick out a free book. Stop in to view the monthly events calendar. The schedule is also posted outside the library on the corkboard.

Visit the library and see all the changes!
